The leaves of a multi-section door which can slide horizontally are supported on a roller rail (4,5,6). The door leaf driving system comprises a cable (9) with one end (9a) constrained by a winding drum (10) having a first winch (11), and the other end (9b) constrained by a second winding drum (12) with a second winch (13) synchronised with the first winch. A drive part (16) fixed to a leaf section (2) is connected to the cable, and takes two different end positions (E1,E2) when the door leaf (1) is either opened or closed. The cable is guided by a guide system (29), provided in a 90 degree arc (5), consisting of several pulleys (30) whose vertical rotation axes are located on a segmental arc concentric with the 90 degree arc. The two winding drums are set up at a distance from the two end positions of the drive part beyond their trajectory. |
