Electric through-flow water heater

The water heater has a heating block (7) inserted in a flow path (2) for the water, with a second parallel flow path (3) bypassing the heat block, the flows from the two paths combined by a mixer (4) before discharge. One of the flow paths contains a pump (8), for circulating the water through a circuit containing both flow paths, coupled to a control circuit (11), responsive to the detected water temp. Pref. the water temp. is provided by a temp. sensor (10) contained in the first flow path between the heating block and the mixer. Pref. the control circuit also receives a signal from a flowrate detector (6).
