The seal consists of a first part (12) forming the anchor section with one of the relative moving pieces (26) which has a primary rigidity. A second intermediate part (18) is solid with the first part which has a second rigidity less than that of the first part. A third part of the seal (20) forms the rubbing element onto the second of the relative moving pieces (28) and has a rigidity greater than that of the second part. The third part projects away from the second part and in cross section, the third part has a length (l) at least twice its thickness (e). This third part has a reduced coefficient of friction in rubbing against the second piece.
