The video signal input to a socket (1) terminated with a 75-ohm impedance passes through an impedance converter (10), feedback clamp (20) and voltage-to-current converter (30) to a first opto-isolator (40). An amplitude filter and sync. separator (60) pulse the feedback clamp, and cut off (50) the opto-isolator in the event of signal failure. Part of the output is impedance-converted (80) for a sample-and-hold stage (90) whose DC output is integrated (110) and used to adjust the clamp via a second opto-isolator (130). USE/ADVANTAGE - Between spatially sepd. video equipments or systems, signals can be transmitted without interference from equalising currents and in conformity with standards, irrespective of video source.
