The printing method of using a plate carrier cylinder with inking and wetting rollers, a blanket carrier cylinder and a feed cylinder, forming printing elements (1) with flat surfaces and thrust and printing faces in relief. The method consists of making up a model on a flat sheet by sticking the appropriate printing elements (1) to it so that their printing faces are against the back of the sheet and their thrust faces are coated with a layer of adhesive. The sheet is then passed through the printing machine so that the printing elements become stuck to the feed roller and can then transfer the print to fresh sheets fed into the machine.
