The stretcher includes a horizontal frame with a U shape attached to a vertical support (2). A fold-away device (13), that includes a carrier with two rigid supports (41,42), slides along the frame. A conveyor belt (19), made up of three belts, is attached to the carrier. An electrical motor (14) is mounted on the stretcher frame and actuates the two supports and the conveyor belt. The motor is controlled by a remote control device (9).
