PURPOSE:To improve agitating efficiency and to sufficiently agitate crude refuse and fine wooden pieces in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A decomposition treatment is executed by agitating a mixture 4 composed of the crude refuse and treating materials for decomposing the crude refuse thrown in a treating vessel 1. The treating vessel 1 of such crude refuse treating device is so formed as to be freely rationally driven and a revolving shaft 2 provided with agitating vanes 3 is disposed in the treating vessel 1 in such a manner that the shaft is freely rationally driven. The mixture 4 is agitated by rotating the treating vessel 1 and the agitating vanes 3 are rotated by revolution of the revolving shaft 2, by which the mixture 4 is agitated.
