<p>PURPOSE:To make the manipulatability of a handle satisfactory, irrespective of a position of a glove box with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A handle 17 turnably provided to a body 15 is held by a torsion spring 18 so as to abut against the body 15. The body 15 is provided therein with a ratchet 24 for locking a striker and a slide member 20 which is rectilinearly movable so as to cross a locus depicted by of the ratchet 4 on rotation. The slide member 20 is urged toward the right in the figure, and is moved toward the left in association with the manipulation of the handle 17. In this case, when the slide member 20 is moved toward the left in association with the manipulation of the handle 17, the ratchet 24 falls into a cut-out part 22 formed in the slide member 20 so as to be rotated, and accordingly, the striker is released from the locking condition thereof.</p> |
