A suction port comprising a planar base (1) with an opening (3) arranged to engage the end of a suction hose on one side and a suction conduit (6) on the other side. The port comprises a connector (7) between the conduit (6) and a cylinder (4) extending rearwards from the opening (3) in the base (1). The connector (7) consists of a cylinder (10) combined with an end plate (11) with an opening (13) concentrically aligned with the cylinder (10). The diameter of said cylinder (10) is such that it can be fitted into or around the conduit (6), and the diameter of said opening (13) is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the cylinder (4) extending from the opening (3) in the base (1), which base (1) is provided with holes (16) so that it can be screwed (17) onto the end plate (11) of the connector (7). |
