<p>PURPOSE:To switch over running mode between motor and pedal automatically by incorporating a control part to disengage a clutch controllably when a speed corresponding to the detected rotation of the pedal reaches a specified limit or higher, and engage it when the speed lowers approximately to the specified limit or lower. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that an operator operates a throttle 28 to rotate a motor 36 and also operates a pedal by his feet to run a vehicle. In this case, the rotation of a sprocket wheel is detected by a sensor 22. Also a pedal speed judgment part 12 judges the pedal speed from the detected rotation of the sprocket wheel, and also judges the set speed set by the operation of the throttle 28 from the signals transmitted from a motor control part 18. The pedal speed and set speed thus judged are compared with each other by a clutch control part 16 to judge whether the pedal speed is approximately the set speed or higher.</p> |
