<p>PURPOSE:To enable the massive multiplication of good asparagus seedlings by utilizing a system for inducing adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body of an asparagus to form adventitious buds high in the regeneration rate of the plant bodies. CONSTITUTION:The multiplication method including a system for containing adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body of the asparagus comprises inducing a multibud body from the young stem shoot apex tissue of an asparagus field strain, inducing adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body, forming the adventitious buds, inducing the adventitious buds into seedlings, and subsequently raising the seedlings. Herein, either of a method requiring the dividing transplantation of the multibud body of the asparagus after the induction of the multibud body and a method utilizing adventitious buds directly induced and formed on a multibud body subcultured in a rotation culture state as such can be selected for the induction of the adventitious bud-forming calluses from the multibud body of the asparagus and/or for the formation of the adventitious buds.</p> |
