PURPOSE:To efficiently deodorize garbage with less energy and compact constitu tion by preventing the back flow of oxygen from a discharge port into a treating vessel, adequately supplying oxygen for ozone formation for odor decom position and diluting included methane to below the explosion threshold. CONSTITUTION:This deodorizing device has a waste gas taking out means 10 for discharging the gases generated in an anaerobic garbage treating tank 5 without admitting oxygen into the treating vessel 5 and a deodorizing means 15 for deodorizing the smells in the taken out waste gases.
