<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter excellent in resolution and spectral characteristic by incorporating an alkali-soluble phenolic resin and an electron donor or a reducing agent into the film in addition to coloring matter. CONSTITUTION:A film of resist material is provided on a substrate, and the color filter consists of a filter contg. a coloring matter having a specified spectral characteristic in the film. An alkali-soluble phenolic resin and an electron donor or a reducing agent are incorporated into the film in addition to the coloring matter. In this case, the molecules having an unshared electron pair such as nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur of amines, thiols, etc., are exemplified as the electron donor and org. compds. in a low oxidation state such as ascorbic acid and tocophenol as the reducing agent. Namely, the org. compd. having no absorption in the visible region or more preferably ascorbic acid or erysorbic acid and tocophenols as the acetic ester of the tocophenol are exemplified as the electron donor or reducing agent.</p> |
