PURPOSE:To provide electric power to a pair of electrodes corresponding to one nozzle by a supply means of the same supply unit by providing a means to supply electric power to multiple electrodes and connecting different multiple electric power supply means to specific electrodes. CONSTITUTION:When a controller 26 retains signals ENB1, 2, 3, 6 at a level H, outputs OUT1, 2, 3, 6 of drivers 12, 13, 14, 17 will be high in impedance. Therefore, electrodes 1, 2, 3, 5 will have high impedance, preventing electric current from flowing in a conductive ink between a pair of electrodes corresponding to nozzles 6, 7, 9, preventing the conductive ink from being discharged. The controller 26 retains signals ENB4, 5 at a level L and makes drivers 15, 16 active. At this state, the controller 26 outputs several pulses 180 degrees in phase difference to CON4, 5, changing the potential of OUT4, 5 in response to signals H and L of CON4, 5 and also electrodes 3 and 4. |
