PURPOSE:To optionally and selectively change the type/form of a character and to display or printing out a specific character. CONSTITUTION:Second font data for displaying or printing out specific characters whose types/forms are different from that of reference characters are previously prepared in a font area 14c of a ROM 14, and when character data whose type/form is to be changed at the time of displaying or printing are optionally and selectively specified from plural character data determined as characters whose type/form can be previously changed, the specified character data are detected from document data stored in a document buffer 15a of a RAM 15 and 2nd font data corresponding to the character data are read out from the font area 14c and developed on a display buffer 18 or a printing buffer 21 to display or print out them. |
