PURPOSE:To improve riding comfortableness of a vehicle by reducing sliding resistance of a shock absorber, in a suspension spring mechanism having the shock absorber integrally used with a coil spring to support at least one end thereof to an upper rod or lower case of the shock absorber through a spring seat. CONSTITUTION:A helical shape surface 3b of a lower spring seat 3 is set to a shape such that a coil spring 1 and the lower spring seat 3 are brought into contact with a uniformly equal distribution load in the circumferential direction under a normal load.
