PILE FABRIC, CHANGE OF PILE LENGTH AND WEFT YARN DENSITY IN PILE FABRIC LOOM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To weave a fabric full of variety in pile length and weft yarn density. CONSTITUTION:Operation of servomotors 22 and 24 is controlled by a terry motion control computer (C1) according to a pile fabric pattern stored in a pile fabric patterning unit 32 and a terry motion is performed by an expansion bar 6. The terry amount can be varied by combination between plural elemental terry amounts and elemental terry modifiers respectively for setting a pile fabric pattern. Operation of a servomotor 31 is controlled by a draw control computer (C2) according to a weft yarn density pattern stored in a weft yarn density patterning unit 33 and a woven fabric is drawn by a surface roller 7. The weft yarn density can be varied by combination between plural elemental weft yarn density values and elemental weft yarn density modifier values respectively for setting a weft yarn density pattern.
