PURPOSE:To improve the transport efficiency to a specific floor by installing a means permitting the service for each alternate floor by the upper and lower part cars by connecting two elevator cars in the vertical direction in a shaft and a means for the service for a dining room floor, etc., by both the cars in the lunch time operation, etc. CONSTITUTION:As for a double deck elevator which is suspended in a well bucket form with a balance weight 4 by a rope and is constituted so that an upper part car 5 and a lower part car 6 under the upper part car 5 are installed in a shaft, operation is carried out in a double system using the 1F and 2F as starting floor, in the ordinary operation. In other words, the upper part car 5 serves at the even numbered floor, and the lower part car 6 serves at the odd numbered floor, and the operation at each alternate floor is carried out. In the lunch time operation, operation is switched to the system where both the upper part car 5 and the lower part car 6 serve for a dining room floor 7F. Further, in the special floor concentrated operation, operation is switched to the system where both the elevator cars 5 and 6 can serve for a special floor 12F. Accordingly, the service for users can be improved, and the effective utilization of the building space is enabled. |
