PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the resetting operation of an ejecting document when the paper end occurs at the time of continuously copying in the ADF mode, in the machine applying intermediate transfer system. CONSTITUTION:In the operation control method for copying machine, provided with the plural paper feeding stages 31 to 33 for respectively containing the transferring paper 24, defining the time required for moving the toner image from the starting time of exposing the document through image forming stage of the toner image on the photoreceptor 9 to the form transferring position as image forming path and the time required for transporting the transfer paper 24 from the starting time of the paper feeding to the form transferring position as paper feeding path, then, referring to the length of each path, when the relation is shown in the inequality, (image forming path) > (paper feeding path), the paper feeding stage 31 to 33 is severally used and when the relation is, (image forming path) < (paper feeding pass), another paper stage is used, and at either time, the image forming stage is controlled with the same interval, when the the automatic document feeding device is used in the ADF mode, the start up of ejecting the document is performed after the lapse of the paper end detect timing of the transfer paper 24 corresponding to the ejecting document. |
