<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a fault diagnostic device for an automatic follow-up system previously diagnosing faults except ones regarding a power supply by the automatic follow-up system for an automatic voltage regulator and enabling a rapid countermeasure. CONSTITUTION:A fault diagnostic device 25 for an automatic follow-up system outputs follow-up signals to an automatic voltage regulator 10-1 on the normal side and an automatic voltage regulator 10-2 on the stand-by side doubled from the automatic follow-up system 12 respectively. The fault diagnostic device 25 detects the deviation of the follow-up signals output to the automatic voltage regulator 10-1 on the normal side and the automatic voltage regulator 10-2 on the stand-by side, and detects the malfunction of the automatic follow-up system 12 on the condition of the output of the follow-up signals from the automatic follow-up device 12 when the deviation exceeds a fixed value.</p> |
