PURPOSE:To quickly and uniformly stabilize reduction in the concentration of the toner of partially consumed developer by changing the flow of replenished toner in carrying. CONSTITUTION:In this developing device having two carrying rollers 5 and 6, an agitator roller 9, a mixing roller 10 and an MG roller 13, movable partitioning members 22 and 23 are provided between the carrying rollers 5 and 6, a movable partitioning member 24 is provided between the second carrying roller 6 and the mixing roller 10 and toner concentration control sensors 25, 26 and 27 are provided so as to correspond to the partitioning members 22, 23 and 24 as well, so that changes in the output signals of respective sensors 25, 26 and 27 are linked with the vertical movements of the partitioning members 22, 23 and 24. |
