SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for a preliminary stage for physically removing solids for the purpose of a separation treatment a by removing the solids selected at the end of a screen are removed from the screen, pulverizing the solid to the fine particles and releasing as a waste stream from the discharge port of a pulverizing machine. CONSTITUTION: A solid waste S larger than the mesh of a screen 30 arriving at a upstream surface 78 of the rotating endless screen 30 is carried by the stream along the screen 30 while the solid waste is allowed to pass through the greater portion of the liquid stream 22 when the screen 30 rotates clockwise. When the screen 30 passes so as to include the sprocket of a drive shaft therein, the solid waste S is automatically removed from the screen 30 and is admitted into narrow grooves 32a. The fluid stream 22 in which the solid waste S is gathered passes the narrow grooves 32a and enters the inlet port 221 of the pulverizing unit 14 where the solid waste S is rapidly and effectively pulverized to finer particles. There particles are released as a waste stream 24 from an outlet port 223.
