PURPOSE:To simply impart noninterchangeability to a developing device by engaging an engaging member with a member to be engaged in a normal developing device and not engaging them in another developing device. CONSTITUTION:An engaging member 27 formed as a boss part is fixed on a developing device 10A and a member to be engaged 28 is provided on a developing device support 12. Then, the black developing device 10A is mounted on the developing device support 12 for the developing device and the engaging member 27 is engaged with the member to be engaged 28 provided on the developing device support 12 for the black developing device. On the other hand, when a developing device support 12, is for instance one for a yellow developing device and the black developing device 10A is inserted in the direction of the arrow (a) the engaging member 27 provided on the developing device 10A is butted against a member to be engaged 28' for the yellow developing device and a connector 31 for the black developing device is never engaged with a printed board 32' for the yellow developing device. |
