PURPOSE:To enable an outpatient to easily grasp waiting time for a medical consultation by displaying a waiting time estimating information from which the waiting time of each medical consultation section can be estimated on a display. CONSTITUTION:When the information showing the reception of a patient and the recorded information of the received patient are transmitted from a receiving controller 2 arranged in each medical consultation section, a system controller 5 reads out the information of the received patient and stores the read information in an overall patient information storing part and a received patient information storing part build in an external storage device. A CPU counts the number of received patients, sets up receiving numbers and transmits these data to the controller 2. When end information showing the end of a medical consultation is transmitted from the controller 2, the CPU reads out the name of the patient whose medical consultation ends and other information and counts the number of end patients. The CPU updates the number of received patients and the number of end patients in each section which are displayed on a receiving state monitor arranged on an entrance hole or the like of a hospital. Thereby patients can know the degree of congestion in each section. |
