PURPOSE:To obtain the subject food having high hair growing and tonifying effects and good palatability. CONSTITUTION:This food is obtained by blending (A) a soybean saponin with (B) one or two or more kinds of compounds selected from collagen protein or its hydrolyzate, a keratin protein or its hydrolyzate and a sulfur-containing amino acid (L-methionine, DL-methionine, L-cystine, etc.). The blend amount of the collagen protein or its hydrolyzate to the component A is preferably 5-1000 pts.wt. based on 1 pts.wt. of the component A. The daily intake of the component A is preferably 10-500mg.
