PURPOSE: To generate natural musical sound signals full of expressions provided with an optional pitch and controlled performance. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a waveguide network (53) compared of a signal line for transmitting wave signals and a delay element inserted into the signal line and a conversion means (nonlinear junction 52) for outputting signals which are the function of output signals from the waveguide and control signals corresponding to playing in according with prescribed conversion characteristics and inputting the signals based on the output of the waveguide. By propagating the signals inputted from the conversion means to the waveguide inside the waveguide and returning them, vibration signals provided with the pitch decided corresponding to the transmission characteristics are excited in the network. The vibration signals are taken out from the optional part of the network and outputted as the musical sound signals. |
