PURPOSE:To simplify a pronouncing process related to plural kinds of tone information by generating a musical sound according to inputted performance information based on converted pronounce control information. CONSTITUTION:When the tone information is outputted to a controller 10 by the operation of a tone specifying device 14, even at the time of either tone parameter of a type 1 or a type 2, the tone information is converted to a format of a musical sound parameter used in a press key information process routine based on the press key operation of a keyboard device 12 to be stored. Thus, a time difference between the pronounce instruction based on the press key operation of the key board 12 and the real pronounce by a sound source device 18 is shortened. Further, in such a electronic instrument, two different tone parameters of the type 1 and the type 2 are converted to the musical sound parameter of the same format, and the press key information process routine based on the press key operation of the key board device 12 is executed using the data of the format of the musical sound parameter. |
