PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner of the type suspended from a ceiling whose casing has a good strength and is light in weight and whose manufacturing process is reduced with less working steps. CONSTITUTION:To a frame 11 assembled in a substantially flat, rectangular shape and thereon a set of internal machinery, i.e., a blower 13, chilled-hot water coil 17, humidifier 15, filters 19, 21, drain pan 23, etc., is fixed. Outer plates 25, which are thin plates, are attached to the frame 11 and the internal machinery in a manner of covering them up at the sides. Suspension fittings 29 are attached to the frame 11. The assembly is suspended by the use of the suspension fittings 29. |
