发明名称 CRYOGENIC ENERGY-STORING MATERIAL AND REFRIGERATOR USING THE SAME
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a cryogenic energy-storing material which contains specific major phase and specific minor phase, respectively, and is useful in refrigerators because of its excellent abrasion resistance, wearing resistance, mechanical strength and high refrigeration efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The material comprises a rare-earth metal alloy having the composition of the formula: RMz (R is a rare earth element; M is a transition metal, or an element in the group IIIb; z is 0.001-13) containing (A) the major phase in which the rare earth elements differs in the contents, and (B) the minor phase in which the average diameter of the major phase is 0.01 to 20mum in the cross section. The cryogenic energystoring material is preferably a rare earth metal alloy in the aggregation state where the sub phase distributes in the form of surface skins on the surface of the major phase or distributes in fibrous forms in the major phase and the content of the major phase is preferably 50 to 90vol.% and the sub phase content is 10 to 50vol.%.
