<p>PURPOSE:To excite a male screw member in the direction perpendicular to the axis with an elastic exciting member, automatically adjust the backlash of a trapezoidal screw with a simple structure, and follow the abrasion of the screw section of the trapezoidal screw. CONSTITUTION:A trapezoidal female screw member 300 supported by a housing H is driven by a motor M, a trapezoidal male screw member 200 is moved in the axial direction, and rear wheels are steered. The trapezoidal male screw member 200 is elastically pressed to the trapezoidal female screw member 300 via a slide member E1 and a rear steering shaft 5 by a compression coil spring E3 provided on a backlash adjusting mechanism E. A female screw section 300a and a male screw section 200a are pressed, and the backlash in the axial direction between both trapezoidal screw members 300, 200 is eliminated. The relative rotation of the rear wheel steering shaft 5 against the housing H is restricted by the slide member E1. The preload of the compression coil spring E3 can be easily adjusted by a screw member E2 operable from the outside.</p> |
