PURPOSE:To exert a shielding effect to an external noise in spite of the existence of fitting to a mating side connector, and prevent crosstalk between mutual signal contacts. CONSTITUTION:In this shielding connector, since ground contacts 3 arranged outside of the outermost row of signal contacts 2 are integrally continued to each other, when either pin part 33 is connected to a grounding circuit of a board, the whole ground contacts 3 are grounded, and the whole signal contacts 2 are shielded from an external noise. Crosstalk between the signal contacts 2 in this outermost row and the signal contacts 2 in rows adjacent to each other by sandwiching shield plates 4 between them and between the mutual signal contacts 2 and 2 adjacent to each other in the same row, can be prevented by the shield plates 4 arranged inside of the outermost row of the signal contacts 2 and grounded through the ground contacts 3. |
