PURPOSE:To provide a long-sized material support jig capable of improving workability for a mounting work on a fixed member by forming the first joint section, superposing an elastic plate on the internal surface of a band, coupling an engagement section to the internal periphery of the first engagement hole of the fixed member and, then, keeping the extension end of the elastic plate in contact with the fixed member in that state. CONSTITUTION:An engagement groove 6 is kept engaged with the first periphery 14A of a cutout groove 4, and the extension end section 8A of a leaf spring 8 is kept in contact with a channel member 1. The leaf spring 8 presses a band section 5 with the resilient restoring force thereof in a radial outward direction, thereby keeping the band section 5 at a constant position. Thus, this long-sized material support jig 3 can be fixed to the channel member 1. Then, a set bolt B is inserted in the bolt hole H of the end section 8A, and a nut N2 is screwed to the end of the bolt B, thereby causing the nut N2 to clamp the second periphery 14B, and fixing the section 8A to the channel member 1. Thereafter, a flange section 5A is made to near under oscillation around the engagement groove 6 against the resilient restoring force of the spring 8, thereby engaging a coupling section 9 with a coupled section 10. |
