发明名称 OPERATING METHOD FOR FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent performance from worsening due to ignition exploding, corroding a member and drying an electrolyte by introducing water into an electrochemical cell to humidify residual gas discharged when operation is stopped. CONSTITUTION:In the case of stopping operation, water in a water storage part 2 is fed into a fuel cell stack 1 by opening valves V1, V2 and closing valves V10, V11, and after residual gas is replaced with water, valves V1, V2, V12, V13 are closed to stop the operation in a condition that a cell inside is sealed. At the time of starting a fuel cell, valves V10, V11, V3, V4 are opened to discharge water in the stack 1 by pressure of reaction gas in the fuel cell, and after the water is collected to the water storage part 2, a power generation capable condition is obtained by closing the valves V3, V4 and opening the valves V12, V13. Thus by eliminating necessity for a nitrogen gas cylinder for discharging residual gas by nitrogen gas, miniaturization and lightening weight are attained to suppress corroding an oxygen electrode, and also an ignition exploding hazard can be suppressed.
