PURPOSE:To enable replacing an ozone filter at the appropriate time and to prevent the health of people from being damaged by providing the ozone sensor out side the fun for measuring the ozone concentration in the exhaust air. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with the electrifying device 10 for imparting the electric charge of the specified potential to the surface of the electrostatic latent image carrier (OPC drum) by the corona discharge and the transferring device 11 for transferring the toner image formed on the OPC drum to the paper sheet respectively covered by the ventilation path 4a and 4b, further, the fun 2 and the ozone sensor 3 are provided out side the ozone filter 1 disposed at the exhausting side of the ventilation path 4a and 4b. The ozone generated by the electrifying device 10 and the transferring device 11 is removed at the time of passing through the ozone filter 1, however, the density of the ozone contained in the air exhausted by the fun 2 is measured by the ozone sensor 3. Furthermore, an alarm is sounded by the ozone sensor 3 when the measured density of the ozone is exceeded the reference value. |
