<p>PURPOSE:To omit a start mark or a timing mark by adopting constitution using a data mark or a parity mark also as a timing mark or the like. CONSTITUTION:An information display card 1 is constituted by describing a set of marks consisting of one or more data marks a1 to an, b1 to bn for displaying information and parity marks c1 to cn for parity check on the surface of a card. This information reader is provided with a sensor part 10 for detecting information displayed on the data marks a1 to an, b1 to bn and information displayed on the parity marks c1 to cn as ON/OFF signals, respectively and a reading part 15 for reading out the information displayed by respective ON/OFF signals, and an ON signal of anyone of the data marks a1 to an, b1 to bn or the parity marks c1 to cn is used as a data reading timing to read out information in the reading part 15.</p> |
