In a contact device consisting of a number of laminae cemented together, of which one lamina constitutes a fixed contact member (1) and another lamina (3) comprises a movable contact member (3a), the contacting occurring in a hermetically closed chamber (14) formed within and between the laminae and having a yielding external wall (10), through which an external force (13) can act upon the movable contact member (3a), the new feature is that the movable contact member (3a) consists of an elastic material, preferably metal. What is achieved with this arrangement is partly a high degree of operating reliability, as the springy contact member (3a) does not become "fatigued" in the same manner as e.g. plastic material, even after having been held in the contact-making position shown through a long period of time, partly that the contact device may be made with such small dimensions that it is suitable for use in a hearing aid - even a so-called "in-the-ear" hearing aid, subject to a great risk of chemical influence from e.g. sebum, cosmetic solvents including hair lotion and shaving lotion, battery electrolytes, etc. |
