The apparatus includes stopper pins (14,15,16) and a contact finger (13) mounted on a transfer track (11) to test the devices sequentially, rotatable fingers (17,18,19,20) fixed on a shaft (22) and to the finger (13) and stopper pins (14,15,16) cams (25,26,27,28) rotated by a step motor (24) through a shaft (30) to operate the fingers (17,18,19,20) sequentially, and a sensing means for controlling the driving of the step motor (24) upon falling of contact finger (13), thereby using a single motor (24) to reduce the cycle time. The sensing means includes a sensing plate (29) having a sensing hole (29a) formed on the shaft (30), and a sensor (31) for sensing the hole (29a).
