Strap with concealed ferrite antenna for wrist-watch radio receiver

The watch strap has a ferrite antenna (8) installed in a functional element (1) of the clasp. The element co-operates with hooks (3,3a) on a counterpart (2) when they are pushed through corresp. slots (7,7a). The electrical wires (4) from the antenna to the electronic circuitry within the watch case are taken through a channel (5) along one edge of the strap (7). Their ends are terminated on a pluggable connector for introduction into the case.
