Two part coupling that can be separated for use with cables

A coupling for multi core electrical cables has two plug elements (10, 20) that latch together and can be separated. Each plug has a moulded body into which the cable is secured. One plug has an array of contact bushes (51-60), and the other has a corresponding array of plug pins (61-70). The ends of the pins are shaped to latch against the contacts. Both bushes and pins are set into base plates (30, 40).
