An installation is for ventilating a warp end band by means of a treatment gas and features at least one perforated drum (7,8) equipped with radially and axially running ribs. The radial outer edges of the ribs are designed as a support for the yarn band (2) and the distance between the surface (9) and the plane of the warp end band (2) to be tensioned round it is such that a pressure pad is formed on the path of a treatment gas flowing through the yarn band (2).
