A damper unit having a variable damping coefficient is formed like a piston moving inside a cylnder (20) filled with a fluid which can pass through the piston. The cylinder has an inclined or spiral groove (22) at its inner surface wall. The piston includes a first circular disc (24), a second circular disc (25) and a piston rod (10). The first circular disc has one more through-holes and opposite protrusions (23) to be meshed with the grooves. The first circular disc is rotatably mounted close to the second disc at the further end of the piston rod. The second circular disc having one more through-holes is fixed at the end of the piston rod. A biased coil spring (30) is prepared outside the cylinder. The other piston (21) moved by the fluid is provided at the lower portion of the cylinder containing air.
