In using a video signal and a sound signal in connection between the video cassette recorder and another apparatus, the automatic control device of an apparatus connected to a video cassette recorder comprises: a micro computer for generating a control signal commanding an operation in response to the operation of the VCR to the apparatus signal-connected with the VCR; a key-matrix for generating the cellular remote control data of the apparatus which is signal- connected to the VCR according to the control signal of the micro computer; a light emitting part for generating the cellular remote control signal so that the apparatus connected to the VCR operates by being joined with the VCR by the key-matrix signal; and an automatic control switch for controlling the light emitting part.
