The auxiliary pressure is adjusted proportional to the pedal force in a pressure chamber (27). Also provided is a braking pressure modulator (24), a measurement value pick-up (25) and an electronic control and regulating system (26). A part flow (Q1) of the pressure medium vol, displaced from the control chamber (19), is supplied to the pressure chamber (27), across a hydraulic path (11) connected parallel to the auxiliary pressure pump (6). The part flow (Q1) across the hydraulic path (11) is larger than the delivery flow (Q2) of the auxiliary pressure pump (6).
