Guide light system as orientation aid on vehicles

The guide light housings (8,9) are so fitted, that the sight lines (4,5) leading from the driver of the vehicle across the guide light housings to the guide points (2,3), mark the boundary lines (10,11) of the surface to be driven over. So that the diffused or other dazzle free guide light (6), is selectively switched on or across a switch coupled with the ignition or the dipped and full beam light. The guide light is so illuminated against the travel direction towards the driver, that with poor visibility and darkness can be seen well. Its position change depending on the loading in the guide light housing. With daylight it can also operate without switching on of the guide light (6).
