Egg white and an extruded stick of crystallised egg yolk are disposed in an elongated chamber, which may be formed of a flexible synthetic resin, whereby the chamber is substantially full when sealed, and thereafter solidifying the egg white whilst rotating the container about its major axis, which is inclined to the horizontal, whereby the yolk is centralised. The solidification may be effected by heating or freezing. |
