Lockable lid for filler socket of portable work unit fuel tank

The lid (8,28) has a grip by which the lid, relative to the filler socket, is rotatable. The lid and the filler socket are designed to grip and lock with each other in such a way that the lid is held within the filler socket. A locking member (21,38) is arranged between the fuel tank (10) and the lid which automatically causes them to grip in each other. The lid has at least one opening (15) or recess (39) and the fuel tank has at least one stop nose, forming the connecting member, which comprises a plate (14,26) supported on a spring. To remove the lid, the locking nose is disengaged from the lid holes or recesses.
