<p>A self contained frying machine (10) having a storage area (21), a mixing chamber (19') for receiving a pre-measured amount of deshydrated food product from the storage area (21) and rehydrating and solidifying the same, a piston (32) for compressing the rehydrated food product and forcing it through an orificed die plate (66) where the dehydrated and solidified food product is formed into individual pieces. The pieces are then deposited into a hot oil chamber (122) and, after frying, drained and deposited into a container (136) for consumption.</p> |
