The holder has a top side screw or clamping union for coupling to a grinding machine, and an underside support face (3) with a lining (4) for a self-adhesive fastening of the grinding tool. The integral lining has T-shaped, hooked grippers (5). Pref. the T-shaped hooks are uniformly distributed on the lining, with mutual spacing of 2 to 10mm. The hook T-bar may be spaced from the lining face by 0.5 to 10mm. Between the support face and the lining may be sandwiched a flexible support layer (7). the lining edge may be recessed, or severed.
