<p>A method of back-side photo-induced ablation, in which a laser is directed through a mask at the back side of a light-transmissive substrate, and the ablated areas are then filled with a filling material. This technique may be used as a method of making color filters, by repeatedly ablating different areas and filling with different colored filling materials.</p> |
