The seat section comprises a seat shell (3) which has two seating parts (11). The seating parts lie in the region of two pressure zones (9) of the ischia of the seated person, and are separately elastically formed. In the central region (6) of the seat shell, the pressure zones are split into two seating parts by three longitudinal slots (10). The slots, in their end sections, are separated at transition zone (8) by transverse slots (12) from the rear section (7).
